What type of Milk does Dr. Berg recommend?Updated a month ago

Dr. Berg recommends choosing sheep's milk, goat's milk, and A2 cow's milk.

The distinction between A1 and A2 refers to two variants of the beta-casein protein found in milk. Many people find the A1 protein (common in most conventional cow's milk) harder to digest.

Why Sheep and Goat Milk are Preferred

Goat Milk: Goat milk is naturally composed overwhelmingly of the A2 beta-casein protein and is very low in or completely lacks the A1 protein.

Sheep Milk: Sheep milk is also naturally high in the A2 beta-casein protein and very low in A1.

Therefore, people who experience digestive discomfort with conventional cow's milk (which contains a blend of A1 and A2 proteins) often find goat and sheep milk much easier to tolerate because they are fundamentally A2 in nature, as is cow's milk that is A2 only.
