Therapeutic Dosages for Health ChallengesUpdated 2 months ago

Many of our customers follow Dr. Berg’s educational content on YouTube and social media. In these videos, Dr. Berg often discusses therapeutic dosages—higher amounts of specific nutrients used to address deep deficiencies or specific health challenges.

However, you may notice that the "Suggested Use" on your Dr. Berg supplement bottle lists a lower amount. This article explains the difference and why we advise following the label.

Educational Content vs. Product Formulation

  • Educational Context: When Dr. Berg discusses high dosages (e.g.,800 mg of Magnesium or high-dose Vitamin B1), he is speaking from a clinical or educational perspective regarding therapeutic usage. These levels are intended to correct a specific imbalance under professional guidance.
  • Product Formulation:Dr. Berg’s supplements are formulated fornormal health maintenance. They are designed to provide high-quality, bioavailable nutrients to support your daily requirements andmaintainoptimalwellness.

What if I want to follow a Therapeutic Protocol?

If you have watched a video where Dr. Berg suggests a higher therapeutic amount and you feel you need that level of support:

  1. Do Not Exceed the Label:We do not recommend exceeding the recommended dose of our specific formulations to reach those therapeutic targets.
  2. Consult a Professional:Therapeutic protocols should ideally be monitored by a healthcare provider who can track your progress and ensure the higher levels are appropriate for your specific needs.
  3. Specialized Formulas:If yourequirea therapeutic dose, you may need to seek out a specialized formula or a brand that offers a product specifically standardized for high-dose therapeutic use.
